Tampa Bay is 6-1 in their last 7 games against a team with a winning record and 49-22 in their last 71 games as a favorite while the under is 5-1 in their last 6 games overall. New York is 21-5 in their last 26 games against the Atlantic division and 5-2 in their last 7 games following a win while the over is 5-0 in their last 5 games as a home underdog.
I get why the Lightning would be favored here. But realistically, I can’t pass up on the value with the Rangers in this one. The Lightning will have to make the adjustments necessary to tie the series up at one, but New York’s been so good at home and I think all of the pressure here is on Tampa Bay to bounce back. MSG is no joke when the building is rocking and the Rangers are at home. Give me New York and the plus money here.
