The Houston Astros and the Kansas City Royals meet in MLB action from Kauffman Stadium on Saturday.

The Houston Astros will be looking to grab another win over KC after a 10-3 win over the Royals last time out. Michael Brantley has 46 hits with a .271 batting average while Yuli Gurriel has a team-high 15 doubles and Alex Bregman has 38 hits with 11 doubles, 6 home runs and 28 RBIs. Yordan Alvarez has a team-high 15 home runs and 33 RBIs and Kyle Tucker has 8 home runs and 29 RBIs as well this season. Jeremy Pena also has a .280 batting average with 8 home runs and 23 RBIs of his own this season. Luis Garcia will start here and is 3-3 with a 3.14 ERA and 51 strikeouts this season.

The Kansas City Royals will look to rebound from their loss at the hands of the ‘Stros on Friday. Andrew Benintendi leads the Royals with 62 hits along with a .335 batting average and 21 RBIs while Salvador Perez has 6 home runs and 18 RBIs of his own. Perez has 8 doubles and Hunter Dozier has 10 doubles as well as a pair of triples and Bobby Witt Jr. has 13 doubles as well on the year. Witt Jr. also has a team-high 3 triples with 27 RBIs as well while Benintendi also has a pair of triples and Whit Merrifield has 24 RBIs as well this season. The Royals did not have a starting pitcher announced at the time that this article was posted.

Houston is 5-0 in their last 5 games overall and 5-0 in their last 5 road games while the under is 12-3 in their last 15 games overall. Kansas City is 0-5 in their last 5 games overall and 0-5 in their last 5 home games while the over is 11-3 in their last 14 games overall.

I get the reasoning for backing either team here, but I’m still sticking with Houston. The Astros have been red hot right now and while Luis Garcia has had his ups and downs, I think we’re in for another strong performance from the Astros as we saw on Friday. Give me the Astros in this one.
