The whole Tom Brady to the Dolphins was closer to happening than previously thought.  According to Chris Simms anyway.  Simms claims the Buccaneers were prepared to accept a second-round pick from the Dolphins for Brady.

Simms added that the Bucs called Brady after his retirement and told him they were looking into replacing him with another quarterback.  That's when Brady decided to return.
