The NFL world was shocked once again on Wednesday, as the Miami Dolphins traded for six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Tyreek Hill. It was one of the biggest trade packages for a wide receiver in NFL history. The Dolphins sent back five draft picks including a first-round, second-round and fourth-round pick in this year’s NFL Draft. They also gave up a fourth-rounder and a sixth rounder in 2023. But there is no debating that the Dolphins are better today after making this deal.
Here are three bold predictions for Tyreek Hill and the Dolphins in the 2022 season after the trade with the Chiefs.

3. DOLPHINS MOVE UP IN AFC EAST
The Miami Dolphins have made a very clear decision this offseason. They are leaning on offense instead of defense. That began when they fired former head coach Brian Flores. Flores was a defensive coach and led the Dolphins field one of the better units in football last year. They let him go and signed former San Francisco 49ers offensive coordinator Mike McDaniel as the new head coach.
It then transferred to player personnel. Miami signed a couple new running backs, both of whom are very good when healthy in Chase Edmonds and Raheem Mostert.
On Tuesday, the Dolphins shored their offensive line up a bit, signing Pro Bowl offensive lineman Terron Armstead. But this is the blockbuster move that Dolphins have been crying for.
