Odell Beckham Jr. was on his way to putting together a fantastic performance in Super Bowl LVI. He caught two passes for 52 yards and a touchdown in the first 15 minutes and 5 seconds of the game, but on his third target, he suffered a devastating non-contact injury.
The pass was slightly behind Beckham, causing him to stutter-step and reach back for the pass. It’s believed that he suffered a torn ACL, which will likely keep him out for most of the 2022 season, if not all of it. A week after the injury occurred, Beckham called it a “heartbreaker.”
It was in response to a video showing the injury and the reactions from both the Rams and Bengals.
Heartbreaker. Can’t even lie to y’all https://t.co/XLNhea4vEu

Beckham will be a free agent in March and while there seems to be mutual interest from both sides about a return in 2022, it’s unclear when Beckham will be able to get back on the field next season.
