Claude Giroux leads the Flyers in scoring with 38 points including a team-high 22 assists while Cam Atkinson has 37 points with a team-high 17 goals along with a team-best +8 plus/minus rating this season. Carter Hart’s gone 9-16-6 with a 2.96 GAA and a .910 save percentage in goal for the Flyers while Martin Jones has gone 6-9-2 with a 3.58 GAA and an .898 save percentage this season.

Carolina is 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games played on no rest and 1-4 in their last 5 games of the fourth game in a 4 in 6 situation while the over is 5-1 in their last 6 games as a road favorite. Philadelphia is 3-23 in their last 26 games against the Eastern Conference and 7-21 in their last 28 games as a home underdog while the over is 6-2 in their last 8 home games.

I get the case to be made for a home underdog in certain spots, but the Flyers are back to struggling mightily and taking on a solid Hurricanes team doesn’t look like it’s going to help matters. I think this is a wire-to-wire win for the Canes, so give me Carolina -1.5
