The New York Rangers have cast their nets and are fishing for a second-line right winger and a bottom-six, two-way forward to add to their lineup before the trade deadline comes along in two months.

With plenty of salary cap space to play with, Rangers GM Chris Drury is exploring the trade market and looking for options to bolster his team up front.

The Rangers have been linked to several players, according to various reports, including the likes of Arizona Coyotes forwards Travis Boyd and Lawson Crouse, Columbus Blue Jackets forward Max Domi, Montreal Canadiens winger Artturi Lehkonen, Vegas Golden Knights right wing Reilly Smith, Seattle Kraken forward Cally Jarnkork and Chicago Blackhawks left wing Brandon Hagel.
