The Buffalo Bills might be in danger of losing at least one of their coordinators to a cross-state foe.

According to the New York Daily News, Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll is firmly on a radar. Per the report, the New York Giants are “very interested” in Daboll at this time.

In addition, that update connects Joe Schoen as well. Buffalo’s assistant general manager has been linked to the vacant general manager position in New York and there could be a scenario where Daboll and Schoen are a package deal:

As expected when this process began, some sources say the Giants are very interested in Bills offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, the Belichick disciple who has gotten the best out of quarterback Josh Allen in Buffalo.

The Buffalo ticket of GM Joe Schoen and head coach Daboll certainly is an intriguing one. Schoen, who interviewed in Chicago, too, is considered as ready as any of the Giants’ nine candidates to take the big chair. And Daboll as an offensive coach could tackle the team’s worst side of the ball.

Daboll’s name has been linked to multiple job openings so far across the NFL. Despite that, none are the Giants.

Per reports, the Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears have requested to interview Daboll, but no one in New York has. According to our friends at Giants Wire, the G-Men have yet to interview anyone for their vacant head coaching position.

Interview requests for Daboll and others could start being sent out by the Giants this week.

The same cannot be said for Schoen. It was already reported last week that New York would interview him for their vacant GM position.

Stay tuned to Bills Wire throughout the winter as we will provide all updates regarding Buffalo assistants and front-office members that are connected to other NFL teams.
