The time has come and the Indiana Pacers are beginning to be come up in serious rumors during the 2021-22 NBA season. This was expected and it is finally here. Now, the question remains which player will be moved?

After another slow start to the season, Indiana is in a good position to blow things up a bit. The front office contuse to say that they are going to try and win with this roster but that has not seemed possible in recent years.

If this level of play continues, the Pacers will need to look for trade partners and Myles Turner could be the first player sent away.

The Pacers have come up in rumors featuring Caris LeVert and Domantas Sabonis in recent weeks. Sabonis is an All-Star caliber forward while LeVert was acquired last season.

Turner seems like the logical player to move because of his recent value. Turner is a true rim protector and has an improving offensive game. Let’s not forget that he did score 40 points in a game this season.

If and when Indiana decides to blow it up a bit, there will certainly be some teams interested in Myles Turner. Here are three specific organizations that should be on the phone early and often with the Pacers for their big man.

3. Toronto Raptors

The Toronto Raptors enter as a dark-horse candidate for Myles Turner. It has been two years of mediocrity now for a franchise that has gotten used to success. Fred VanVleet is signed long term which means Pascal Siakam could be a surprise trade candidate. Here, the Raptors would have two interesting options.

Masai Ujiri could either put together a package without Siakam or include him in to give away less assets. The duo of Turner and Siakam would be a strong one down low but the Raptors would have to part ways with more.

Either way, the addition of Turner is one that would improve the Raptors on both ends of the floor. VanVleet is a stat-sheet filler that can play with an impact big man. That is what Turner is.
