Tre Donaldson, a four-star football and basketball prospect, announced his commitment to Auburn on Thursday on CBS Sports HQ. Donaldson, a 6-foot, 190-pounder from Tallahassee, Florida, chose the Tigers over Florida, Florida State, Alabama, Ole Miss.

Donaldson, a safety, is the No. 267-ranked prospect in the Class of 2022 according to the 247Sports Composite rankings. He started at quarterback and defensive back for Florida State University School, and led his team to a 9-1 record and was named the Tallahassee Democrat Big Bend Offensive Player of the Year. He had 42 tackles and two interceptions as a safety, and threw for 1,765 yards and 15 touchdowns as a quarterback for the Seminoles, and added 702 yards and 10 scores on the ground. He is currently ranked No. 20 among safeties and is the No. 32-ranked football player in the state of Florida.
