Kansas City’s defense stifled Cincinnati’s offense in the second half of their contest, allowing zero points.

Quarterback Jake Browning threw for just 197 yards as Ja’Marr Chase was his top target, although he finished with a mere 41 yards on three receptions.

Chase had called out Kansas City’s secondary earlier in the week, telling the media that he doesn’t believe that the Chiefs have a “superstar on defense.”

Sneed clearly took that personally.

Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase and Chiefs defensive back L’jarius Sneed got into a shoving match that almost caused a massive brawl.

After the game, Chase accused Sneed of just wanting to fight.

“I don’t know what he was doing….that MFer wanted to fight,” Chase told reporters.

The Bengals and Chiefs have formed one of the NFL’s most prominent rivalries throughout the past few years. The two tams met in the AFC Championship Game in each of the previous two postseasons. Cincinnati came out on top in 2021, while Kansas City got its revenge in 2022.

They won’t have a chance to meet this season, as the Bengals were officially eliminated from playoff contention.
