The Philadelphia Eagles have lost their way. That’s what star quarterback Jalen Hurts implied Monday following the team’s loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

The Eagles were upset 20-17 by the Seahawks after Philadelphia gave up a game-winning 92-yard drive led by Seattle’s backup QB Drew Lock.

With Seattle down 17-13 and facing 3rd-and-10, wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught an unreal 29-yard TD pass from Lock to give his Seahawks the lead at Lumen Field in Seattle, Wash.

Philadelphia never trailed in the contest until the final 28 seconds.

Hurts spoke in a somber tone as he addressed the media during his postgame press conference. The Eagles QB pointed out his team’s lack of commitment and inability to execute the team’s gameplan like they did during the first half of the season.

“I’ve been talking about execution all year,” said Hurts. “Everyone being on the same page. We didn’t execute. I don’t think we’re committed enough. Just got to turn it around.”

Hurts at least showed enough commitment to take the field Monday after initially being questionable due to an illness.

Hurts also shouldered some of the blame, stating that both he and the team “didn’t play good enough” to secure a win over the Seahawks.

Hurts threw for a season-low 143 yards with no touchdowns in the loss to the Seahawks, though he rushed for 82 yards and 2 scores. The Eagles fell to 10-4 after their third-straight defeat.
