NFL fans are reacting to a wild Kirk Cousins injury rumor that started doing the rounds on social media this Saturday evening.
The NFC North News account on X has posted a supposed scoop claiming that the Vikings QB is not only done for this season but will spend the entire 2024 campaign sidelined too.
According to the story, the QB was at a team facility rehabbing his Achilles when teammate Ed Ingram came in for a chat and to see how he was getting along. Cousins then asked about the guard’s new stance before Ingram accidentally stepped on his ankle while trying to demonstrate.
The signal-caller is said to have fallen to the ground before being helped out by members of the Vikings medical staff.
