Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James suffered a left shin injury against the Phoenix Suns. It happened after Suns star swingman Kevin Durant kneed him in the first quarter.

LeBron got his leg worked on while sitting on the bench and came back into the game and played very well. The King put up 32 points, 11 rebounds and six assists in the Lakers’ 122-119 win on the road.

After the game, LeBron talked about his injury.

LeBron is built like Superman, so no one was surprised to see him stay in the game. However, it’s possible LeBron will miss the Lakers’ next game against the Portland Trail Blazers.

“It was good to just finally get over the hump at this early stage of the season,” LeBron said. “We’ve been playing from behind in a lot of our games and haven’t been able to take the lead. That was a good feeling.”

LeBron is 38 years old. He’s in his 21st season in the NBA. The fact that he’s still one of the best players in the NBA is remarkable. LeBron’s game logs this season look like this thus far: 21 points, 21 points, 27 points, 19 points, 35 points, 24 points, 30 points, 18 points, 32 points

LeBron is well on his way to making another All-Star team and All-NBA team. The Chosen One, though, is more focused on winning a fifth championship. For that to happen, LeBron — and Anthony Davis — has to stay healthy.
