This will be a get-right game for the Padres. They really struggled on their road trip but now they come home to the friendly confines of Petco Park against their division foe. The Giants haven’t named a starter which means it’ll likely be an opener situation/bullpen game. San Diego’s bats should handle any pitchers the Giants put out there.

Run line/Against the spread

AVOID.

I don’t like the run line at all in this one. I’m not confident enough in the Padres to cover that 1 1/2 and the odds are terrible if you take the Giants getting the 1 1/2. If you are going to bet just take the moneyline on the Padres.

I am just not solid on either side. I lean to the Under because of the recent play of both teams but without knowing the Giants pitcher at this point I’m going to avoid this bet.
