Buffalo Bills wide receiver Gabriel Davis has been making his case in recent weeks. Even Pro Football Focus agrees.

Since Week 10, Davis has hauled in nine of his 14 targets for the Bills (7-5). On them, the second-year pro has put up 209 yards and a touchdown.

While perhaps not overly impressive at surface level, considering his playing time, it very much is.

Davis has typically played between 25 and 30 percent of snaps on Buffalo’s offense this season in games. The addition of Emmanuel Sanders has cut into his playing time.

Just last week against the New England Patriots, Davis scored the Bills’ lone touchdown, despite only playing 16 total snaps.

But it’s not just the normal stats showing Davis is doing well. The fancy stats are.

According to PFF, Davis has a 91.2 overall grade since Week 10:

Had Davis earned that grade for the entire 2021 season, he would be amongst the NFL’s top-graded PFF wide receivers.

The football analytics outlet currently grades Green Bay Packers receiver Devante Adams as the NFL’s top wideout. His mark is a 91.5 overall.

Adams would be the only one above Davis.

Down the stretch, the Bills need to do one thing: Consistently win.

After alternating wins and losses for seven weeks, stringing a few victories together will go a long ways in terms of making a playoff push.

Potentially, Davis could help there.
