About Last Night

Totals domination continues
The Pickswise NBA team continued their recent mastery over NBA totals on Friday’s slate, going 8-3 on the night to take our streak over the last 5 days to 26-12. Our 3-star play of the Bucks ML (+110) also cashed comfortably as they beat the Clippers 119-106. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander posted 44 points as the Thunder beat the Trail Blazers 138-129.

3-1 night in the NHL
Our NHL cappers were also in solid form, going 3-1 with their picks on the small Friday slate and cashing our Best Bet on the Penguins ML as they beat the Ducks 6-3.

Today’s Slate

Lakers vs Warriors on ABC tonight
There is a strong 9-game slate in the NBA today, with NBA TV showing the 76ers vs Nets game at 6:00 pm ET, while Lakers vs Warriors is on ABC at 8:30pm ET.

Huge NHL slate
The NHL has 14 Saturday games, with ABC showing Lightning vs Stars at 1:00 pm ET and Capitals vs Bruins at 3:30 pm ET, while Rangers vs Hurricanes is on NHL Network at 7:00pm ET.

There’s college hoops, soccer and UFC too
Alabama, Texas, Kansas, Tennessee and Virginia are among the top college basketball teams in action today and we have NCAAB picks for all the big games, while we also have soccer predictions for today’s EPL slate and UFC predictions for UFC 284.

Best Bet of the Day

NCAAB: Virginia Cavaliers -6 over Duke Blue Devils
4:00 pm ET, ESPN

The Duke Blue Devils are 17-7 this season but coming off a blowout loss to Miami on Monday. They were never in that game and looked like they did not want to be there in the second half. The Blue Devils shot just 26.3% from beyond the arc and continued their road struggles. They have won just 2 road games this season (against teams that rank outside the top 160 in KenPom’s rankings), while Virginia has played at a high level holding a 18-4 overall record and a 10-3 conference record. Virginia should take care of business at home and cover too.
