Phoenix Suns rookie Ryan Dunn is eager to face off against NBA legends in the upcoming All-Star Game. After Team Candace’s decisive 25-14 victory over the G League squad, which secured their spot in the All-Star tournament, Dunn expressed confidence in his team’s youthful energy. He acknowledged the financial disparity between the Rising Stars and their veteran opponents, stating, “When it comes to it, we don’t have the money that they have, so we’re going to try and get some of that money.”
Dunn emphasized their strategy to bring athleticism and excitement to the game, aiming to compete fiercely against seasoned players like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and his own Suns teammate, Kevin Durant. Reflecting on the opportunity, Dunn remarked, “Being able to play against those guys as the ones coming up is going to be very exciting. I’m looking forward to seeing where I’m at as a player in an All-Star game.” Team Candace is set to face Shaq’s OGs in the tournament at 9:10 p.m. ET on Sunday, Feb. 16.
