Fans loved what Kirk Cousins did on Thursday night, and they also love what he did the following morning.
First off, Cousins led his Atlanta Falcons to an improbable 36-30 comeback win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in overtime in Atlanta on Thursday night. He passed for 509 yards and 4 touchdowns, casting aside doubts about whether he could perform in primetime.
Cousins is a very relatable guy, and he stuck to that image on Friday.
Cousins was a guest on “The Dan Patrick Show” Friday, and he conducted his interview from the parking lot of a Waffle House restaurant.

For those who are unfamiliar, Waffle House is a popular chain restaurant that serves Southern breakfast food. It is headquartered in the Atlanta, Ga. area and very popular in the south and midwest, with over 2,000 locations.
