San Francisco’s Power
The San Francisco Giants have combined to hit a .183 ISO against righties over the last month. The projected lineup has seven batters that have hit at least a .158 ISO over the previous month against righties.
That’s ideal with a matchup against Miami’s Adam Oller. Oller has allowed a .211 ISO and wOBA of .326 to his last 46 batters. He’s also given up 50% of hard contact and 50% of fly balls.
Once the Giants connect, they’ll be hitting bullets against Oller.
Miami Can Scratch Out Runs
Don’t expect Miami to dominate Blake Snell. However, Snell has walked 12.7% of his last 118 batters and has allowed nearly 26% of line drives and 26% of fly balls over the previous month.
He’s a high strikeout pitcher who should still get a high rate tonight. But there are times when Snell gets in trouble with his walks and then allows a run or two.
That’s all the Marlins would need to help hit the Over with Oller on the mound opposite of Snell.
