Nashville led 3-0 after the first period, but they allowed Ottawa to score the last four goals in the game for the loss. The Predators were out shot by a total of 35-28 and went 0-3 on the power play in the game. Nashville lost to Edmonton by a score of 4-1 in the game prior to Ottawa, but they did beat Minnesota by a score of 3-2 before that. The Predators are scoring 2.98 goals per game and they are allowing 3.12 goals against per game, while going 19.1% on the power play and 76.4% on the penalty kill. Filip Forsberg has led Nashville with 23 goals, 27 assists, and 197 shots on goal. The projected starting goalie for Nashville is Juuse Saros, who is 19-18-2 this season with a 2.94 goals against average and a .903 save percentage. 

Kings vs Predators Betting Prediction

Both of these teams come into this matchup struggling in recent games, but the Predators will be at home. Los Angeles has lost 14 of their last 16 games and they have allowed at least four goals in four straight. Nashville has scored three goals or fewer in eight straight games and they are only 13-12-0 at home. This is a tough game to call with both teams playing poorly, but I have to side with the Predators until I see a different result from the Kings. Take Nashville at home.
