Kellen Moore is officially returning to the NFC East.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported Saturday that the Philadelphia Eagles are hiring Moore to become their new offensive coordinator. Moore, 35, had just interviewed with the Eagles earlier this week.

A former NFL quarterback, Moore spent the 2023 season as the OC of the Los Angeles Chargers. While the Chargers were just 18th in the NFL in total offense, a lot of that was owed to injuries that decimated their skill players. Moore also previously had a successful stint as Dallas Cowboys OC from 2019-22, presiding over multiple No. 1 offensive finishes.

As for the Eagles, they have completely overhauled their coaching staff under Nick Sirianni after their embarrassing Wild Card round exit this year. Just a few days ago, Philadelphia hired another big-name coach to be their next defensive coordinator.
