The 2023 NFL Pro Bowl rosters have been finalized. Of the 32 teams, four of them didn’t have a single player named to the festivities.

Here is a look at the offensive and defensive players from both teams who were named to the Pro Bowl, which will be held on Feb. 1 and Feb. 4 (one week before Super Bowl 58) at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida:

As noted by Dov Kleiman, the Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers, New England Patriots and Washington Commanders were the only teams who didn’t have a single Pro Bowler this year:

The Patriots certainly didn’t have many logical candidates outside of defensive tackle Christian Barmore (8.5 sacks). They don’t have a single player with 1,000 yards of offense, and top defensive players Christian Gonzalez and Matthew Judon suffered season-ending injuries.

The Packers also don’t have a player with 1,000 yards of offense, though QB Jordan Love has fared well with 30 passing touchdowns. Linebacker Rashan Gary (nine sacks) and linebacker Preston Smith (8.5 sacks) have played like Pro Bowlers, though.

One can argue that one-time Pro Bowl wideout Terry McLaurin was a snub. Even on a woeful Commanders team, he has 73 receptions for 946 yards and four touchdowns.

For the Panthers, wide receiver Adam Thielen (101 catches, 1,002 yards and four touchdowns) and pass-rusher Brian Burns (seven sacks) also deserved consideration.
