Micah Parsons against the refs in 2023 is quite a sight to see.

The Dallas Cowboys took an early lead on Sunday against the Dolphins but things went terribly bad after a roughing the passer call on edge rusher Micah Parsons set Tua Tagovailoa and Miami up for a score right before the half.

Parsons had to be held back by a teammate after the play.

After the game, the Cowboys linebacker unloaded on the refs about that play as well as multiple times he is seen being held and not receiving a penalty flag.

“It’s mind-blowing, the things that are getting called, and the positions that we get put in. We just have to learn how to fight the adversity. I know a lot of it is BS, but it’s the world we live in. We’ve got the star on our helmet. … It’s just hard to play defense.”

Parsons on his roughing the passer penalty: “(The ref) said my intent was to punish the quarterback. How am I trying to punish him if I’m just trying to sack him? It’s not like it was a late hit. It’s not like I’m leaving my feet. I didn’t lead with my head. I don’t know how you make that call.”

It was the first time all season that Parsons was flagged for roughing.

Dallas was flagged six times for 38 yards during the 22–20 loss against Miami. The Dolphins were hit with five penalties for 33 yards.

The Dallas Cowboys suffered a difficult loss at the hands of the Miami Dolphins on Sunday night as it is now their second-straight loss.

The Dallas Cowboys are on their first losing streak in two years after they lost the Miami Dolphins on Christmas Eve.

The Cowboys will lick their their wounds heading into a must-win game against the NFC North-champion Lions.
