Oregon Ducks quarterback Bo Nix took the field at Allegiant Stadium tonight with a lot on the line.
Not only was the senior QB trying to win a Pac 12 championship and help his Ducks earn a spot in the CFP final four, but he was also looking to cement his bid for the Heisman Trophy in what is still a pretty wide open race.
But even if things don’t work out for Nix tonight, at least he’ll have a future in the NFL and a lovely wife to look forward to.
As for the latter, we’re talking about Izzy Nix (formerly Izzy Smoke), who was previously a cheerleader at Auburn University.
The two met during Bo’s time at Auburn, before he made the move west to Oregon.
And when Bo went out west, Izzy follow him there. And the rest, as they say, is history.
