Ryan Fitzpatrick opening gift

Former Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick has played for a bunch of teams during his NFL career.

The journeyman quarterback who played for nine teams in 17 seasons joined Prime Video as an analyst in 2022.

On Friday, he was on call for the Jets-Dolphins game and it was a special day for him since it was his birthday.

After the game, he was given his present which was a helmet but with a twist. It had every logo from every team he played for on it.

Fitzpatrick is the only quarterback in NFL history to win a game with seven or more different teams (Miami, Tampa Bay, New York Jets, Buffalo, Houston, Cincinnati, Tennessee).

He had his best season as a pro in 2015, starting all 16 games, throwing for 3,900 yards and 31 touchdowns. Fitzpatrick’s 34,990 passing yards are the most in NFL history by a player who never played in a playoff game, and stands as the 32nd most in league history.

Fitzpatrick didn’t compile a Hall of Fame career, but he certainly made it worth watching, both on and off the field. We wish many more happy birthdays to come in the future.
