Seattle Seahawks star wide receiver DK Metcalf has developed a reputation of being a hot head and it has cost his team with penalty yards he has accrued over the years.

He decided to find a way to get past that in a genius way.

Metcalf chose an ingenious outlet for his outbursts. On the Rich Eisen Show, Metcalf explained how he took American Sign Language classes so he could do things like trash talk without being flagged by the refs.

This past weekend, Metcalf used the sign language to troll Los Angeles Rams cornerback Ahkello Witherspoon.

In that game, Metcalf had five catches for 94 yards and one touchdown.

For the season, he has racked up 646 receiving yards on 40 catches to pace his squad this season while scoring three touchdowns as a receiver. Through the air, Seattle is 14th in the NFL with 2,308 passing yards (230.8 per game) and 11th in passing yards per attempt (6.7).

The Seahawks are 6-4 and sitting in second place in the NFC West. The Seahawks have a huge matchup at Lumen Field against the San Francisco 49ers on Thanksgiving.
