Frustrations, unsurprisingly, are continuing to boil over for the Pittsburgh Steelers offense

The Steelers’ offense was mostly non-existent in Sunday’s disappointing 13-10 road loss to the Cleveland Browns. Pittsburgh’s offense had just 249 yards on 57 plays, and quarterback Kenny Pickett was sacked three times in the loss.

According to Mark Kaboly of The Athletic, wide receiver Diontae Johnson got so frustrated to the point where rookie offensive lineman Broderick Jones picked up the star pass-catcher and carried him away from an argument with a coach:

“Then there was Johnson getting visibly upset on the sidelines during the second half Sunday, which was significant enough that rookie offensive tackle Broderick Jones had to pick him up and carry him away from a member of the coaching staff. That led to a lengthy sideline talk between Johnson and coach Mike Tomlin during the give-and-take moment.”

Kaboly added that head coach Mike Tomlin came over to speak with Johnson in a “heart-to-heart” conversation. Johnson had two catches for 16 yards in the loss.

Despite the loss, the Steelers (6-4) remain in playoff position heading into Week 12. Pittsburgh visits the Cincinnati Bengals (5-5) next Sunday.
