Well, Pro Football Hall of Famer Troy Aikman certainly isn’t a fan of New York Jets quarterback Zach Wilson.
Aikman and Joe Buck were in the ESPN broadcast booth to call the Jets’ Monday night home game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Jets were no match for Justin Herbert and company, due largely to Wilson’s disappointing performance.
Throughout the contest, the three-time Super Bowl champion couldn’t help but rip on Wilson time and time and time again. And yes, social media quickly picked up on Aikman’s dislike for the BYU product.
Monday’s blowout loss marked the end of the Jets’ three-game winning streak. Now at 4-4, New York will try to bounce back when they visit the Las Vegas Raiders on Sunday evening.
