NFL Week 6 concludes with a Sunday Night Football matchup between the New York Giants and Buffalo Bills. A mismatch is projected with the Bills currently sitting as 15-point favorites in this one. If you’re looking for a bet on the side or total, then head over to our NFL picks for our predictions on that game and every matchup this season.
The Giants are are limping into this game with a 1-4 record and desperately need a spark to turn their season around. Could it come against the reigning Super Bowl champs in primetime? Let’s dive into our best NFL player prop bets for TNF.
James Cook, RB, BUF, Over 58.5 rushing yards (-110)
Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
Given that this game has blowout potential written all over it, the Bills should lean plenty on their ground game, something that we’ve already seen Sean McDermott and company look to do early and often this season. James Cook is currently the starting RB and should hold that position for as long as he remains healthy and productive. When he has received at least 15 carries, Cook has easily eclipsed this number this season (Week 2 vs Las Vegas, Week 3 vs Washington), and I expect him to be fed consistently in this one. This is a matchup where the game script suggests that Buffalo will be playing from ahead for the majority of the contest, so I like Cook to get plenty of touches in the ground game, and it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he broke a long run at some point as the Bills offensive line should control the proceedings against this Giants front seven.

Stefon Diggs, WR, Bills, Over 83.5 receiving yards (-110)
Line available at DraftKings Sportsbook at time of publishing.
At this point, not much needs to be said about Stefon Diggs. The Bills’ top receiver has been as good as any wideout in football this season, racking up 520 receiving yards through the first 5 weeks, including 4 games in which he tallied at least 100 receiving yards. There were rumors that the connection between Diggs and Josh Allen would be weaker this season after offseason events generated media scrutiny, but the duo has been as strong as ever to this point. Diggs’ 39 receptions puts him 3rd among all receivers, while his 50 targets are 5th among all wideouts. Clearly the top target for Allen this season, Diggs should get plenty of looks against a Giants secondary that is dealing with cluster injuries and has allowed opposing wideouts to run wild as a result. Expect another 100+ yard game from the Maryland product on Sunday.
