The football world came together to offer prayers and messages of support for Tennessee Volunteers’ wide receiver Bru McCoy after his injury scare on Saturday.
In the second quarter of Saturday’s game vs. South Carolina, McCoy suffered a leg injury after making a 17-yard catch. After he was tackled, McCoy remained on the ground for several moments before being carted off.
Per ESPN’s Adam Rittenberg, McCoy was taken to the local UT Medical Center for further evaluation. There was no immediate update on his condition.
Football fans offered messages of support for McCoy following the awful injury scare.
