PDC World Championship Odds
Michael Van Gerwen is the narrow favorite at the top of the betting, as the Dutchman is currently available at +330. Former world number one Gerwyn Price is priced up at +360, while Michael Smith is the only other player under double-digit odds at +480.
Nathan Aspinall is among the value selections in the betting at +1700, while Peter Wright is slightly bigger at +1750. Luke Humphries is available at +1800, with Jonny Clayton priced up at +1850. Previous winner Gary Anderson is available at +3300, while 2007 champion Raymond Van Barneveld is +12000.
Michael Van Gerwen | Clear Front-Runner
Michael Van Gerwen remains one of the most consistent darts players in the world, but he is yet to add to his three PCD World Championships since beating Michael Smith in the 2019 final.
The Dutchman has reached two of the previous four finals, and he lost out in a thriller against Michael Smith in the previous edition. Van Gerwen is the second most successful player in the history of the event, having won three championships on his 16 previous appearances.
Gerwyn Price | Holds A Strong Chance
While Gerwyn Price may be a pulverizing figure in the world of darts, there is little doubt that the 38-year-old is one of the best players in the world. He is a three-time Grand Slam Champion and was previously ranked as the number one player in the world.
Price became the first Welsh star to ever win the PDC World Championship in 2021, as he dismantled Gary Anderson to land a maiden title by a 7-3 scoreline. He is currently ranked fourth in the world but hasn’t won a major PFC title since landing a second World Series Finals title in 2022.
Michael Smith | Defending His Title
The 2023 edition was all about the culmination of Michael Smith’s dream, as he finally landed the top prize. Smith has lost two previous finals before the 2023 edition, which included defeat in the 2022 showpiece against Peter Wright. However, his consistency is easy to see based on the fact that he has reached the final in three of the previous six editions.
The 32-year-old is currently ranked as the best player in the world and has won 17 major titles throughout his career. The 2022 Grand Slam champion will once again be a solid contender throughout the PDC World Championship as he looks to become the first player since Gary Anderson in 2017 to win back-to-back titles.
