Kaluma averaged 11.8 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game for the Blue Jays last season. He was sixth in total rebounds (162) in the Big East.

Kansas State finished 26-10 last season under coach Jerome Tang, reaching the Elite Eight of the 2023 NCAA Tournament.
