Philadelphia Phillies star shortstop Trea Turner understands why fans at Citizens Bank Park have started to boo him.

"I'm honest with myself – I've sucked," Turner said after Monday's loss to the Arizona Diamondbacks dropped the Phillies to 22-25, according to ESPN.

Turner, who joined Philadelphia on an 11-year, $300-million contract during the offseason, is slashing .256/.303/.390 with four home runs, 11 RBIs, and six stolen bases over 46 games in what he calls "probably" the worst slump of his nine-year career.
