Some ideas sound better in theory than they are in practice. NBA teams have plans, too.

Communism. Proposing on the jumbotron. An idea may seem sensible, but when you try to execute them, they suddenly seem problematic.

Some of them are better in theory than they are in practice. These plans make sense- until you actually try them out.

For example, look at the Golden State Warriors. This team is trying to operate on two timelines at once. In theory, developing a young core while contending sounds optimal.

In practice, it’s appeared difficult in 2022-23.

Could the Warriors abandon the plan this summer?
