Fairleigh Dickinson men’s basketball coach Tobin Anderson is leaving the program for the same role at Iona, according to multiple reports Tuesday. Here’s what you need to know:

Anderson — after one season at FDU — will replace Rick Pitino, who took the head-coaching job at St. John’s on Monday.

FDU pulled off one of the biggest NCAA Tournament upsets ever, if not the biggest, when the No. 16 seed Knights knocked off No. 1 seed Purdue in the first round last week. It was the second upset of a No. 1 seed in the first round of the men’s tournament ever.

The Knights lost to No. 9 seed Florida Atlantic in the second round Sunday. They went 21-16 on the season.
