With Selection Sunday just days away, it is nearly time for what could be the craziest NCAA Tournament yet. Read on for our March Madness picks for the national championship based on the top NCAAB odds.

We’ve heard it all year, but there are no elite teams in college basketball this season. The good news is that the level of parity in college hoops this year could lead to the craziest NCAA Tournament we've seen, and our March Madness betting guide can help you get the most out of your tournament wagers. We are expecting plenty of upsets and surprising deep runs as the madness has only just begun.

Still, we have to feel confident a team is capable of cutting down the nets to suggest betting them in the championship market. As a result, we have found three teams that have just enough value in the March Madness odds heading into Selection Sunday.

Here are our best March Madness picks (odds via DraftKings Sportsbook and FanDuel Sportsbook; pick confidence based on a 1-to-5-star scale).

Connecticut Huskies (+2000 via FanDuel) * * *

I have started to talk myself into the UConn Huskies. Think about it, most of the recent chaotic NCAA Tournaments have ended with the Huskies cutting down the nets. Jordan Hawkins is certainly capable of doing his best Kemba Walker or Shabazz Napier impersonation.

Hawkins captured the Big East scoring title this season, averaging 17.3 points per game while also leading the league with 2.9 3-pointers per contest. This team will continue to run through big man Adama Sanogo, but Hawkins’ emergence over the last couple of months has created a dynamic duo for head coach Dan Hurley.

Using Bart Torvik’s customizable ranks, we are able to zero in on where teams stack up in a certain time frame. Dating back to Feb. 1, UConn has been the second-best team in the country by ranking No. 11 in adjusted offensive efficiency and No. 9 in adjusted defensive efficiency.
