About Last Night

Strong start to the week in the NBA
The Pickswise NBA handicappers made a great start to the week on Monday, going 5-2 on sides (including the Rockets ML at +185), 5-2 on totals and cashing our Best Bet of under 245.5 in Grizzlies vs Kings. Prop Holliday also went 2-0 with his NBA player props, putting us on a 6-2 run over the last 3 days. The Bucks reached the 150-point mark with their 150-130 win over the Pistons, while the Trail Blazers were not far off, beating the Spurs 147-127.

NHL props run reaches 9-1
It was also a sweep on Best Bets and props in the NHL on Monday. Our 3-star play of Rangers ML cashed comfortably as they beat the Panthers 6-2, while it was another 2-0 day of NHL player props, making in an incredible 9-1 over the last 5 days!

Today’s Slate

Clippers vs Lakers on NBA TV
There are 7 NBA games tonight, with NBA TV showing Celtics vs Heat at 7:00 pm ET and Clippers vs Lakers at 10:00pm ET.

11-game NHL slate
We have 11 games in the NHL today, with Wild vs Lightning and Golden Knights vs Devils among the top matchups.

There’s college hoops, soccer and tennis too
Kansas State vs Iowa State is the top college basketball game today at 9:00 pm on ESPNU and you can read our college basketball picks for all today’s games. We have soccer picks for Newcastle vs Southampton, and our terrific coverage of the Australian Open continues with today’s tennis predictions – our handicapper Ricky Dimon went 3-0 on Day 9!

Best Bet of the Day

NHL: Boston Bruins -1.5 vs Montreal Canadiens
7:00 pm ET, ESPN+

The Boston Bruins are on an absolute tear, 9-1-0 in their last 10 games, while the Canadiens have been treading water, going 5-5-0 in their last 10. The Canadiens have announced that their star forward, Cole Caufield, will miss the remainder of the season with a shoulder injury, and he is their leading goalscorer with 26 goals in 46 games. With no Caufield in the lineup, it is tough to see how the Canadiens will score against a tough defense.
