Damar Hamlin has been discharged from the hospital a week after the Buffalo Bills safety collapsed on the field after suffering a cardiac arrest. Hamlin leaving the hospital is noteworthy since this came just days after he had his breathing tube removed.

While Hamlin is currently at a hospital in Buffalo, he is expected to soon “make a transition back to home” according to his doctors.

In the meantime, we now have a report that can shut down so much noise surrounding why and how a 24-year-old went into Cardiac Arrest.

Former NFL player and current television anchor for CNN Coy Wire dropped the news that Hamlin did not have a pre-existing condition, rather it was the tackle he delivered to Tee Higgins that caused his Cardiac Arrest.

“Doctors finishing tests to determine whether there were any pre-existing conditions that caused Damar’s cardiac arrest. Ongoing tests have determined that was not the case, appears collision was the cause.”
