The Los Angeles Angels and San Diego Padres are among the teams showing significant interest in free-agent right-hander Nathan Eovaldi, whose market appears to be heating up, sources told Rob Bradford of WEEI.

At least one other team – believed to be in the American League – is also involved, Bradford reports.

The Boston Red Sox, who employed Eovaldi over the last four-and-a-half seasons, are not considered front-runners to retain his services.
