Everyone knows who the best players in the NBA are. There is a gap between them and everyone else. 

Inversely, only diehard fans of the league know the worst players. You don’t become a household name for poor performance. In between those extremes lie the rest of the NBA. 

This league is absolutely full of quality basketball players. Some of them will never make an All-Star team, but that doesn’t mean you should underestimate them. 

For example, look at Patrick Beverley. Your mom hasn’t heard of him, but your favourite player takes note of him on the scouting report.

Meanwhile, Bogdan Bogdanovic gets a break on All-Star Weekend, but defenses won’t leave him open after it’s over.
