About Last Night

Happy Thanksgiving for Pickswise Nation
Pickswise followers had a great Thanksgiving Day as we went 3-0 ATS on the NFL slate with our picks of Lions +9, Giants +9 and Vikings -2.5. That takes our record on sides this season to 95-68-4 for +38.1 units of profit. We hit our NFL parlay at +630 odds and had TD scorer winners with Josh Allen (+125), TJ Hockenson (+215) and Dalton Schultz (+230). On top of that, our Lions vs Bills Same Game Parlay was a winner at +750 odds!

Mississippi State upsets Ole Miss
Mississippi State now has the same 8-4 record as Ole Miss after the Bulldogs’ 24-22 win over the Rebels on Thanksgiving night.

Brazil turns on the style
It took World Cup favorite Brazil some time to break through against Serbia, but the Selecao now has +210 odds to win the tournament with FanDuel Sportsbook after a 2-0 win capped by a sensational strike from Richarlison. There were also wins for Switzerland and Portugal, while Uruguay tied 0-0 with South Korea. This morning’s early game in the same group as the United States and England saw Iran beat Wales 2-0 with 2 late goals.

Best Bet of the Day

NCAAF: North Carolina Tar Heels -6.5 over North Carolina State Wolfpack
3:30 pm ET, ABC

The Tar Heels took a disappointing loss last week to Georgia Tech that crushed any realistic chance they might have had at the college football playoffs, but there is still plenty to play for. UNC is heading to the conference championship game against Clemson, and a win this week should assure them of a great bowl slot. NC State is going bowling too, but their season has mostly collapsed down the stretch after losing QB Devin Leary, and backup QB MJ Morris could also miss the game.

England has never beaten the United States at the Soccer World Cup, with the U.S. winning 1-0 in a huge upset in 1950 and the teams playing to a 1-1 tie in the 2010 tournament.
