Good morning, Pickswise Nation, and welcome to another super Sunday of sports. The soccer World Cup starts today and we have everything you need for the NFL Week 11 games. There is also NBA, NHL, college basketball and F1 action today, so let’s get straight to making your next bet better.

About Last Night

Michigan and TCU avoid losses
The top 4 teams in the college football rankings all won on Saturday, but #3 Michigan and #4 TCU had scares, with Michigan beating Illinois 19-17 on a late field goal and TCU beating Baylor by 1 point. #5 Tennessee was not so fortunate, losing 63-38 to South Carolina. FanDuel Sportsbook now has Georgia at -140 odds for the National Championship, with Ohio State at +250 and Michigan out to +1200.

Wizards silence the Jazz
There were only 5 games in the NBA on Saturday but no shortage of drama, as the Raptors beat the Hawks 124-122 after OT while the Pacers beat the Magic 114-113.

Solid day on the ice
The Pickswise NHL team went 9-6 on the Saturday slate. The Bruins moved to 16-2 with a 6-1 win over the Blackhawks, while the Devils are 15-3 after smashing the Senators 5-1.

Today’s Slate

Chiefs vs Chargers on Sunday Night Football
Today’s NFL Week 11 1:00pm ET slate features an interesting game between the 8-1 Eagles and the Colts in their second game under interim head coach Jeff Saturday. There’s a big NFC game between the Cowboys and Vikings at 4:25 pm ET before the Chiefs and Chargers clash on Sunday Night Football at 8:20 pm ET on NBC.

The World Cup starts today
World Cup 2022 gets started in Qatar today with the opening game between the host nation and Ecuador at 11:00am ET on FS1 and Peacock.

8-game slate in the NBA
Today’s 8-game NBA slate includes an afternoon game between the Knicks and Suns at 3:30pm ET and runs through to Spurs vs Lakers at 9:30 pm ET.

Just 2 NHL games today
It’s a quieter day in the NHL but ESPN+ is showing Panthers vs Blue Jackets at 6:00pm ET and Penguins vs Blackhawks an hour later.

College basketball action
There’s a decent amount of college hoops action today, including UCLA vs Baylor at 5:30pm ET and Kentucky vs Gonzaga at 7:30pm ET, both on ESPN.

Best Bet of the Day

NFL: Philadelphia Eagles -6.5 over Indianapolis Colts
1:00 pm ET, CBS

Jeff Saturday led the Colts to a surprising victory over the Raiders and now takes them into battle against an Eagles team already set to avenge their first loss of the season. The Eagles’ run defense was exposed by the Commanders and the Colts will almost certainly try a similar game-plan, but the Eagles are likely to make the necessary adjustments to counter. They should be able to work over a middling Colts pass defense with QB Jalen Hurts and receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith. The loss of tight end Dallas Goedert will hurt, but probably more in regard to the run than the pass. The Eagles can win this by more than a touchdown.
