About Last Night

College football parlay cashes at +628 odds!
The top 5 teams in the college football rankings all won on Saturday, but #6 Oregon was beaten 37-34 by #25 Washington. Alabama just avoided a disastrous third loss of the season, holding off Ole Miss to win 30-24. Our college football Saturday parlay (Penn State -10, Georgia -16, TCU +7) cashed at +628 odds and we went 3-2 on Best Bets and 2-1 on NCAAF props. FanDuel Sportsbook now has Georgia at -125 odds for the National Championship, with Ohio State at +250 and Michigan at +700.

Wizards silence the Jazz
The Washington Wizards produced one of the few surprise results on Saturday’s NBA slate, beating the Jazz 121-112 as 4-point underdogs, while the 76ers beat the Hawks 121-109.

Great day on the ice
The Pickswise NHL team went 8-5 on ML/PL picks and 2-1 best bets, while also cashing our Saturday parlay at +513 odds. The Avalanche beat the Hurricanes 4-1, while the Blues upset the Golden Knights 3-2.

Today’s Slate

Brady visits Germany, McCarthy returns to Lambeau Field
This week’s Sunday NFL slate starts at 9:30am ET as Tom Brady and the Buccaneers take on the Seahawks in Munich, Germany. The 1:00pm slate is headed by Vikings vs Bills before Mike McCarthy return to Lambeau Field as the Cowboys play the Packers at 4:25 pm ET. It’s Chargers vs 49ers on Sunday Night Football at 8:20 pm ET on NBC.

Nets vs Lakers on NBA TV
Today’s 7-game NBA slate concludes with the improving Brooklyn Nets taking on the struggling Los Angeles Lakers at 9:30 pm ET on NBA TV.

6 NHL games today
There is a decent 6-game NHL slate today, with Capitals vs Lightning on ESPN at 7:00pm ET and Stars vs Flyers on NHL Network at 1:00pm ET.

There’s soccer and F1 too
The final 2 EPL soccer games before the mid-season break for the World Cup are today, including Manchester United vs Fulham at 11:30am ET on USA Network, so don’t miss today’s soccer picks and the F1 field are in Brazil for what should be an exciting Sao Paulo Grand Prix.

Best Bet of the Day

NFL: Tennessee Titans -2.5 over Denver Broncos
1:00 pm ET, CBS

The Titans will run Derrick Henry hard, challenging the defense to stop him, and the Broncos have allowed nearly 140 rushing yards per game over the last 3 weeks and we’ve seen them getting stomped by some of the better backs in the league. The Broncos’ rushing attack has been in trouble since Javonte Williams tore his ACL and they have barely cracked 100 yards per game on the ground over the past 3 weeks. Both teams have played some close games all year, but with a 2.5-point spread favoring the Titans, we have to favor the home team. Tennessee is 6-2 against the spread this season and has covered in the last 5.
