The Air Force Falcons and the Army Black Knights meet in week 10 college football action from Choctaw Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

The Air Force Falcons will try to find some consistency after alternating wins and losses in each of their last four games, sitting at 5-3 after a 19-14 loss to Boise State last time out. Haaziq Daniels has thrown for 579 yards, 5 touchdowns and an interception on 47.4% passing while also rushing for 288 yards and 3 scores. Brad Roberts leads Air Force with 943 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns while John Lee Eldridge III has 574 rushing yards as well this season. David Cormier also has a team-high 248 receiving yards as well this season. On defense, Trey Taylor has a team-high 49 total tackles and Alec Mock has 40 total tackles while Camby Goff has a pair of interceptions and TD Blackmon has 3.5 of Air Force’s 6 sacks as a team this season.

The Army Black Knights will look to get back to .500, sitting at 3-4 after back-to-back wins following a 48-24 win over Louisiana-Monroe last time out. Cade Ballard has thrown for 335 yards and a pair of scores with a 51.4% completion percentage while Tyhier Tyler’s thrown for 198 yards, 2 touchdowns and an interception on 45.5% passing. Tyrell Robinson leads Army with 321 rushing yards while Tyson Riley and the aforementioned Tyler each have 300+ rushing yards as well this season. Isaiah Alston has a team-high 204 receiving yards coming on 12 catches as well this season. On defense, Leo Lowin has a team-high 66 total tackles including 40 solo tackles and Army’s defense as a whole has 12 sacks this season.

Air Force is 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games in November and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a loss while the over is 4-1 in their last 5 games against a team with a losing record. Army is 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games overall and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 games following an ATS win while the under is 4-1 in their last 5 games following a win.

I get why Air Force is favored here, as the Black Knights have just been more trustworthy in terms of finding success this season. However, these service academy matchups are always tight regardless of how well one team may be doing and the other not so much. The last four meetings have all been one score games and the only reason last year’s meeting finished at a seven point margin was because the game went to overtime. I think this is a 3-4 point game whichever way you have it going, so give me Army and the points here.
