PICKWISE

Good morning and welcome to another NFL Sunday, Pickswise Nation! We have everything you need for the Week 7 games, while there are also MLB playoff games, plus NHL and NBA action, EPL and MLS soccer, NASCAR and F1’s United States Grand Prix! Let’s get straight to making your next bet better.

About Last Night

Super Saturday of MLB handicapping!
Saturday’s MLB games could not have gone any better for Pickswise as we cashed both playoff game money line and total picks.

On the diamond, the Phillies and Astros are both just a win away from the World Series and could clinch today. The Astros went 3-0 up on the Yankees with a 5-0 Game 3 win, while the Phillies beat the Padres 10-6 to go 3-1 up in their series.

Tigers stage comeback win
Clemson scored 17 points in the 4th quarter to win 27-21 and avoid an upset against Syracuse, although the Orange still covered as 13.5-point underdogs. #7 Ole Miss suffered its first loss, though, going down 45-20 to LSU. FanDuel Sportsbook now has Ohio State and Georgia both at +180 odds for the National Championship, with Alabama at +350.

2-0 on NHL Best Bets, NHL parlay cashes
Our Saturday NHL parlay (Penguins, Stars, Maple Leafs) cashed at +454 odds with both of our 3-star plays (Senators -1,5 and over 6.5 in Kings vs Capitals) also winning. The Flames beat the Hurricanes 3-2 in OT, while the Avs beat the Golden Knights 3-1.

Celtics move to 3-0
The Celtics stayed unbeaten at 3-0 with a 126-120 victory over the 0-3 Magic, while Paul George scored 40 points for the Clippers in their 111-109 win over the Kings.

Today’s Slate

McCaffrey set for 49ers debut vs Chiefs
It’s not the most enticing NFL Sunday slate this week, but Christian McCaffrey is set to make his 49ers debut against the Chiefs (4.25pm ET, FOX) and several teams around the league are without their starting QBs, so there’s sure to be some interesting action. It’s Steelers vs Dolphins on Sunday Night Football at 8:20pm ET on NBC.

Astros and Phillies on the brink
We have action in both MLB series today, but it could be the last game in each one. The Padres and Phillies meet at 2:37pm ET on FS1, with the Astros and Yankees following at 7:07 pm ET on TBS.

Suns vs Clippers headlines NBA slate
Today’s 7-game NBA slate culminates in the game between the Suns and Clippers on NBA TV at 10:00pm ET.

5 NHL games
The NHL took last Sunday off but is providing 5 games today, including Ducks vs Red Wings at %:00pm ET on ESPN.

Best Bet of the Day

NFL: Tennessee Titans -2,5 over Indianapolis Colts
1:00 pm ET, CBS

These AFC South rivals met just 3 weeks ago, when Tennessee won 24-17 and covered a 4-point spread as a road underdog. The Titans are coming off a bye, so they are well-rested. In their first meeting this year, Derrick Henry rushed for 114 yards and a touchdown, giving him his 5th 100-yard effort over their last 6 meetings. Tennessee is all about time of possession and ball control, something they can continue to focus on this game.
