Many general managers across the majors already have a close watch on the upcoming MLB trade deadline. For New York Yankees general manager Brian Cashman, he reportedly has one versatile outfielder on his radar for a possible trade in the coming weeks.

According to the New York Post’s Jon Heyman, the Yankees will “consider” making a move for Kansas City Royals left fielder Andrew Benintendi.

Heyman also noted that the Yankees will head into the trade deadline with an eye on looking to acquire an outfielder.
