Nick Scott shares why he wants to pick off Aaron Rodgers more than any QB

Nick Scott may not have a ton of playing time under his belt, making just two regular-season starts and five in the playoffs, but he’s intercepted a pair of legends in his three years as a pro. His first interception came against Russell Wilson in October, recording another one two weeks later on his former teammate, Jared Goff. Then in the playoffs, he picked off Tom Brady in the divisional round, the best play of Scott’s career so far.

But there’s one quarterback he wants to intercept more than anyone else: Aaron Rodgers. Scott explained why during a Q&A with ESPN in Australia, saying he always talks trash to Rodgers when they’re training at the same gym.

“Aaron Rodgers, and he knows why,” Scott said. “Aaron Rodgers knows why. We train at the same gym, and we’re always going back and forth – or at least I’m always trying to go back and forth with him and talk smack. And I almost got him.”

Scott broke up one of Rodgers’ passes in their meeting in November, a game in which he only played 19 defensive snaps. The Rams will face the Packers once again this season, so Scott will get another crack at picking off the future Hall of Famer.
