The Minnesota Twins and the Arizona Diamondbacks meet in MLB action from Chase Field on Saturday.

The Minnesota Twins will look to find some consistency after alternating wins and losses in six straight after a 7-2 loss to Arizona in Friday’s opener. Entering Friday’s matchup, Luis Arraez has 69 hits including 5 doubles while also posting a .354 batting average. Byron Buxton also has 41 hits with a team-high 18 home runs and 32 RBIs and Trevor Larnach has 13 doubles and Gary Sanchez has 15 doubles to lead the Twins in two-baggers this season. Jorge Polanco has 53 hits and 33 RBIs and Max Kepler has 28 RBIs as well on the year, while Carlos Correa’s also added 51 hits. Dylan Bundy will start on Saturday and is 3-3 with a 5.87 ERA and 37 strikeouts this season.

The Arizona Diamondbacks will try to add to their solid performance over the Twins from Friday. Heading into Friday’s game, Daulton Varsho’s got 50 hits, 9 home runs and 28 RBIs this season. Christian Walker has a team-high 16 home runs and 33 RBIs and Ketel Marte has a team-high 23 doubles while David Peralta has 13 doubles and Pavin Smith’s also got 37 hits, 26 RBIs and has a .191 batting average on the year. Luke Weaver will start here and is 1-0 with a 4.91 ERA and 4 strikeouts this season.

Minnesota is 6-2 in their last 8 games against the NL West and 2-6 in their last 8 interleague games against a team with a losing record while the under is 4-0 in their last 4 games overall. Arizona is 3-11 in their last 14 interleague home games and 34-85 in their last 119 games against a team with a winning record while the under is 9-1 in their last 10 Saturday games.

I get why you could look at the Twins here as the Twins have a lot of high-end names on their roster but we haven’t consistently seen the results and I’m tired of waiting on otential to show through. Even with a lot of upside, the Twins can’t seem to get out from under their funk. Dyan Bundy goes for the Twins here, and he’s been brutal away fro Target Field this season. We haven’t seen much of Luke Waver, but it’s better than what we’ve seen from Bundy on the road by a mile. Give me the D-Backs here.
