Last NBA offseason, many observers expected Kyle Lowry to join his hometown Philadelphia 76ers. Instead, like a certain superstar before him, he took his talents to South Beach.

The Miami Heat were also a widely expected landing spot for Lowry. Realistically, it was always going to be one or the other. Whether Lowry made the right decision or not is difficult to say.

The Heat made a run to the Conference Finals in 2021-22. Lowry wasn’t exactly a meaningful contributor to the postseason campaign. Now, Team President Pat Riley is publically questioning his conditioning.

Could Lowry be due for a new zip code this summer? On the one hand, it’s hard to imagine. His contract is sizeable enough that it won’t be easy to move.

On the other hand, anything can happen in the National Basketball Association.

Here are two trades that find Kyle Lowry playing in Philly after all.

Miami Heat Receive: F Tobias Harris

Philadelphia 76ers Receive: G Kyle Lowry, G/F Duncan Robinson
